Laura Bush: Iraq casualties 'wrenching'
Read about Pickles' pain and puke :puke:

http://www.cnn.com/2003/ALLPOLITICS/12/09/elec04.prez.laura.bush/

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Celebrating the Christmas season during wartime is "bittersweet," and the almost daily reports of casualties in Iraq are a "wrenching" part of life in the White House, first lady Laura Bush said.

"This holiday, when we have so many American military men and women deployed, it's a bittersweet holiday for the families who are here separated from their loved ones," Bush said Monday on CNN's "Larry King Live."

"It's a painful time for our country when we lose people," she said. "It's really a difficult time, but it's also a very, very challenging time for our country. And Americans are strong.

(snip)

Then her fucktard of a husband pops in at the end of the interview to say:
"We want all of our fellow Americans to have a great holiday season," President Bush said. "And we especially extend our greetings and joy to our troops overseas. There are some fine people there serving our country, and I know it's hard for their families to be separated." (Yes, I am sure they will be experiencing much JOY over the holidays.)

Asked if he was geared up for the 2004 campaign, the president said, "Not right now." (Yeah, right)

"When you're an incumbent, you do your job, and I've got a lot on my agenda these days," he said. "The politics will come in its own time. We've got about a year, 11 months, before the people vote. And there'll be ample time for campaigns."

Arrrgggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh! A lot on his agenda?? Like f**king up the Planet????

18. Not a pretty good year, a "fabulous" year
"All in all," President Bush said of 2001, "it's been a fabulous year for Laura and me."

2. Not wrenching enough to wrench that stupid, vapid grin off her
face. What a cow. I'm surprised she could take time out from chewing her cud to drop this little gem on the press.

5. I know, they don't even know what "wrenching"
is - they have no hearts, no minds and no decency. Their false sympathy is truly revolting!

6. Bittersweet????
Poor word choice
Merriam-Webster:
1 : being at once bitter and sweet; especially : pleasant but including or marked by elements of suffering or regret <a bittersweet ballad>

Laura Bush is a dingbat.

What a "moran"! Does he think we're that stupid?? All the idiot in chief does is campaign!! Every little thing the asswipe does is a friggin' photo op or fund raiser!

I was under the impression that he's been campaigning for '04 since January '91! Hmmmm....my mistake. I guess he has more on his "agenda" than just raising $$$ for his campaign.

What a charming couple they are! :puke:

,...when I saw her on CNN,...I turned it off. It's enough that I force myself to watch her husband in order to stay up to speed on his propoganda. But,...I cannot subject myself to any more disconnected sympathy or compassion.

10. 7,000 people are invited to 20 holiday parties at the white house this
year-- I guess all of these festivities are needed to take poor pickles and chimpy's minds off how "wrenching" all that death and destruction is.

Notice that NONE of the families of the dead and wounded are amoung the 7,000 invitees.

this is beyond disgusting.

16. I caught the tail end of LK
when * walked in. Larry asked him about the holidays or whatever, and * began as eloquently as he ever has, "Well Larry, uhhhh, uhmmm, uhhhhh"
If you're going to make a "surprise" appearance, at least have a tiny inkling of an idea of what you will say. But then again I am talking about * and thinking in the same sentence, so that cancels that out!

21. Bittersweet and wrenching eh?
7000 invitations have been issued to visit the WH this Xmas.Lots of parties going on, but still need an invitation to get in to see the people's house as it is decorated, not by Laura, but by the old prune, Babs. The Christmas tree is decorated with the exact same ornaments as Babs the desicated, used when she was first frump. A no brainer for Laura who is too lazy to think up anything more original than that. :eyes:

Laura, on the campaign trail, has made fifteen campaign appearances to make some more money for her serial killer husband , so he can continue to kill little children--in fact, she has brought more in to the king's treasure than Dick Cheney. Isn't it a pity that we are paying for it? I am sure she just loves that idea--more money for her to spend on upholstry.

No word from her about those children who were murdered in Afganistan with an air attack on a "suspected" terrorist. I wonder if they were wearing the school uniforms Laura sent them. She said, after HIllary's visit to Afganistan, that she wanted to go to Afganistan. How childish a thing to say from an obvious jealous, small woman in her late fifties. Oh the "comforter in chief" as she is referred to, has nothing to say to those parents of those nine children? Wrenching eh? She looks "wrenched"

It will be such a pleasure to have a woman like Judith Steinberg Dean as first lady. A woman with intelligence instead of this joker smiling, frumpy, platitudinous, vacant Stepford ass. Wrenching indeed. May she wrench the rest of her days in the White House over the murders her husband is committing.

Nice of her to notice.
:puke:

Laura says: "Oh well enough with all that sad rubbish, I'm off to the next White House party! I wouldn't want these 'wrenching' feelings to get in the way of a jolly time. I'm sure Babs and her beautiful mind will cheer me up!!"

What an utter disgrace.

31. If it is so damn wrenching, why don't you tell that husband
of yours to quit sending our children overseas to die.

Or perhaps he's too damn busy with his agenda - raising more f*ing money from his repug corporate masters so that he can "service" them and f@ck the rest of America at the same time.
