GOP Fund-Raiser Won't Run for U.S. Senate (Georgette Mosbacher)

ALBANY, N.Y. -- Cosmetics executive and major Republican fund-raiser Georgette Mosbacher said Monday she has decided against challenging Democratic Sen. Charles Schumer in his re-election bid next year.

The ex-wife of former U.S. Commerce Secretary Robert Mosbacher cited her responsibilities to her company, Borghese Inc. But she said she might be interested in challenging Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton in 2006.
