Swift & Co. Facing Employee Lawsuit

December 19, 2006--Swift and Company won't face charges for hiring suspected illegal immigrants, but now they are facing a civil suit.

Last week, more than 1,2000 Swift employees in six-states were arrested during an immigration raid. Monday, a group of Swift employees filed a $23 million lawsuit against the company. The employees claim Swift hired illegal immigrants in order to keep wages low for all employees.

1. Good for the plaintiffs! Swift needs to be held accountable

and God knows the government won't do it.
