3. Your quote about politics...
I cannot agree with you more. I am so sick of people saying "I'm not into politics" as if it were an option, like watching sit coms or something. I agree with Rangle; if we bring back the draft our citizens will be forced to do their duty and pay attention to what is happening under their very noses! I also agree with your sentiment about the families, very sad indeed...

2. When will the end?
It is really getting to me... Bush disses the ISG, ignores the will of the people who clearly voted for change, and bullies the generals into changing their minds about the futility of sending more fodder to the meat grinder that is Iraq. When will the Americans wake up, stop listening to that insane BS about how we should "go shopping" and toss his ass out of OUR Whitehouse. Last time I checked this was NOT a dictatorship, even though Bush thinks it would be "a heck of a lot easier"

8. These deaths are "investments" according to Condi
I wonder how many "investments" we have to lose before Condi feels the return is no longer worth it. Bush says he mourns every loss. Is he mourning now?

10. "Public Affairs Office, Camp Victory"
Camp Victory indeed! Names of military operations and task forces are a throwback to Vietnam, together with their body counts and the endless number of Al-Qaeda's Number Two's we have killed.
