Pelosi to meet with al-Maliki in quick visit to Iraq
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has traveled to Iraq for a quick fact-finding visit that will include a meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.

The congressional delegation traveling with the Democratic speaker from San Francisco includes Rep. Tom Lantos, D-San Mateo, chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Rep. Ike Skelton, D-Mo., chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, and Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa., who more than a year ago urged President Bush to withdraw American forces from Iraq and is chairman of the appropriations subcommittee that oversees the military budget.

1. THAT's what I'm talkin about!
It's about TIME and it looks like it may be one of those missions that may bring about some real change finally!

With Pelosi and Murtha together I would suspect REAL DEAL information with their return.

Can't wait to hear about it. IF they let us in on it. NON DLC controlling members are the ONLY way we'll find out the truth and maybe the only way Maliki will HEAR the truth. WE're heading OUT!!! SOONNNNNNNNN! YAY!!!

BAGHDAD, Iraq -- House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Rep. John Murtha, both vocal war critics,
were in the Iraqi capital Friday at the head of a delegation of House members on a fact-
finding mission as the White House and Congress dueled over the expansion of U.S. forces
in Iraq.

The Pelosi delegation visited the heavily fortified Green Zone, site of the American Embassy,
and met with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.

"We come out of the meeting with a greater understanding of the others' point of view,"
Pelosi, D-Calif., said, in brief remarks after the meeting.

3. Pelosi also visited the Green Zone AND the huge new American Embassy today.
CBS reported this.

Once she sees that Vatican City-sized American Embassy, due for completion in June 2007, and is aware of the ~14 permanent US military bases being built throughout Iraq, she will get a much clearer picture of why * is escalating this disastrous invasion and occupation.

And that is to buy time for all the oil contracts with the Iraq puppet government to be signed, sealed and delivered over to permanent control by Western Oil Companies, AND to buy * time to get all his radical neoconservative ducks in a row to initiate some type of hostile attack against our forces/interests by scapegoating Iran, in order to fabricate a *justification* for an attack against Iran.

Speaker Pelosi will see that * NEVER INTENDS TO LEAVE IRAQ.

It's time to place it back on the table, Madame Speaker.

Yes, it is. Definitely. And turn up the heat under the burner because we have no time to lose!
