AP: Fewer jobs added; jobless rate climbs

Bush just wants to talk about how great the economy is doing
in order to avoid Iraq, global warming, crimes....

1. Does anyone really believe out unemployment rate is only 4.6%?

"The nation's unemployment rate climbed to a four-month high of 4.6 percent."

There is no way this is a real number. Not to mention it Always excludes the number of people who take "temporary" low-paying jobs because they can't find decent work that pays an actual living wage. Thank god for credit cards and mortgages, without them there would be no middle class.

2. It's not even close

The real unemployment rate is closer to 13% when you add the record number of long-term unemployed that don't even show up on the U6 rate.
