Former UN chief weapons inspector Hans Blix has said he hoped the arrest of Saddam Hussein would shed light on whether and when he destroyed any WMD

I rather like that headline better!

:-)

Of course Reagan/Bush/USMedia folk will say of course he had them - Reagan sold them to him and the CIA told Clinton that they could not be certain that they had been destroyed -

Of course the US media will not use that spin when they disagree with the BBC broadcast headline - if they dare to mention it - since those words will not be approved by their GOP masters.

2. junior said the other day that he wished that David Kay,

had been in charge of finding Saddam Hussein's WMD instead of Hans Blix or something to that nature.
