1. More die in Car Wrecks
Support our troops the "conservative" way - don't give a fuck about them and repeat garbage you hear on right wing radio because you are too fucking proud to admit you were oh so fucking wrong (A conservative trait about damn near anything.) Proudly display your support the troops magnet while you run and get a new movie and a tub of popcorn for joy and happiness in "conservativeville" tonight.

2. The word 'conservative' describes the mood God was in when
he passed out brains to some people.

16. I know, Binka
I'm heartsick for you, and the other DUers who have loved ones being deployed into Bush's insane, criminal war. It's just so wrong, and it's hard to get our politicians to listen to us, and get our people home now. I pray for his safety, and for your peace of mind. He, and you, have already been through enough. How is Peyton taking this?

4. "I am proud to support our soldiers"
So proud that I will graciously allow them to die for me while I chug beer at some game, guzzle gas, buy my second, third and fourth homes, praise Jesus' death, enjoy my big tax cuts, contemplate my academic theories and demonize those who oppose the soldiers' senseless deaths in a faraway land. I am the neo-con/reactionary Christian/Big Oil cabal. Aren't I just great?

And you're absolutely right. The Senate maneuvers and soldiers die - for nothing. It's just incredible.

Four Marines killed; Iraq official held
By SAMEER N. YACOUB, Associated Press Writer
15 minutes ago

Four U.S. Marines were killed in fighting in Anbar province, the military said Thursday. The Marines, who were assigned to Multi-National Force — West, died Wednesday from wounds sustained due to enemy action in two separate incidents in the insurgent stronghold west of Baghdad, according to a statement.

The deaths raised to at least 3,114 members of the U.S. military who have died since the Iraq war started in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count.

Iraqi forces on Thursday detained a senior Health Ministry official accused of corruption and helping to funnel millions of dollars to Shiite militiamen blamed for much of the recent sectarian violence in the capital, the U.S. military said.

who buy into this...

"He died for what he believed in and I'm going to go and fight for what I believe in - the Iraqi people need to have freedom, the same as we have freedom"....17-year-old Marine recruit Spencer Press of Newbury Park, CA speaking to a reporter at the funeral of 20-year-old Marine Anthony Meila killed last week by a sniper in Anbar, Province.

If we had an honest media in this country Spencer would know that Anthony died and he'll be fighting not for anybody's "freedom" but for corporate greed, to steal Iraq's oil, and because a cabal of insane, delusional neocons was installed in 2000. It's a goddamned shame and criminal that no one gave these kids the true facts and allowed them to at least make an informed decision before they signed on the dotted line.

And why are you on this thread and not that one that nearly 900 people have read and where there are well over 200 responses? Get with the program people.

Am i the only one in the universe that:
a.) Did not know who she is/ was before this thread? or no clear idea
b.) Does not care about her? and
c.) find the interest perverse given the real world out there - as evidenced by the news on THIS thread?

Why this fascination on DU?
