India, China and Russia hold talks
Foreign ministers from India and China have held talks in New Delhi, aimed at further developing relations, just prior to three nation talks that will include Russia.

On Wednesday the three countries are expected to discuss regional issues, such as terrorism, drug trafficking and the situation in Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq and North Korea.

1. Well, they have the manpower the US does not have. And it's a worldwide issue.
And we're helping them develop their countries. (I hope they don't want to bite the hand that feeds...)

Seems they could do a bit in return too...

2. That's the power bloc that would likely oppose the US on attacking Iran
Iran is as much a source of oil for China and Russia as Saudi Arabia is to the US. If the US attacks Iran, there will be economic retaliation. They may opt to decrease the rate at which they purchase US treasury bonds (or debt) or may even halt purchasing altogether for a time.

Uh, don't look now, but I think the other big guys are onto BushCo. And, um, yep, they have lots more people than we do. And they are a lot closer to the ME than we are...oh, and they do sorta' own us...all those treasury notes, etc...

...things are gonna' get interesting, too damned interesting for me.
