Dick Morris owes over $280,000 in Connecticut back taxes
news tonight from our local ABC affiliate WTNH...

(Hartford-WTNH) _ The state is looking for money from delinquent tax payers who owe millions of dollars in back taxes.

There are actually two lists, one that lists the top 100-corporate tax delinquents and one that lists the top 100-individuals who own back taxes.

Then there is high-profile individuals like political consultant and Fox News contributor Dick Morris. Morris owes over $280,000 and has been on the state's list of tax delinquents for years.

In fact, she kicked him out of the WH. Hubby went behind her back and started talking to him again. When it came out later that Bill was talking to him again she was very, very upset.

How hard can he be to catch? He's on TV, gives speeches, etc. If you or I were even $2800 behind, they'd hassle us unmercifully with collection agents, garnishment of wages, lawyers on the lawn. But he goes his merry way.

33. Apparently the trick to not having to pay is to owe A LOT OF $$!
The tax agencies always go after anyone who owesa couple of hundred dollars bygarnishing wages, property liens, and frozen bank accounts, butif you owea couple of hundred THOUSAND $$, they don't bother! My problem is, I'd be DEAD before I earned enough money to owe that much in taxes!!!!
