Albright: Bin Laden Comments Were 'Tongue-in-Cheek'
FAUX NEWS ALERT

Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright (search) insisted Wednesday that she was just kidding when she wondered aloud whether the Bush administration is holding Usama bin Laden (search) captive, waiting to break him out at the best political moment.

It was a "tongue-in-cheek comment and was not intended in any other way," Albright told Fox News.

"She said, 'Do you suppose that the Bush administration has Usama bin Laden hidden away somewhere and will bring him out before the election?'" said Fox News analyst and Roll Call executive editor Mort Kondracke. "She was not smiling."

Two makeup artists who prep the guests before their appearances also reported that Albright did not ask her question in a joking manner.

1. What's the issue here?
FAUX "News" does all of its "reporting" with a straight face.

4. this is the Faux News that said OBL was in....Iran! Seriously, though,
no former Sec of State would make an "off-hand jest" remark to any press, let alone Faux..all know better. She meant it.

7. Good
More exposure of some sort of Osama "discovery" next summer or fall might prevent it from happening, but I doubt it. We are still locked into trust and gullibility in America as a whole.

Actually they were sifting through the rubble of the big bomb attack against Osama's position for DNA. That might be secreted away on ice- or some hapless relative of Bin Laden stupid enough to pose as him for the "myth" might be killed in messy fashion with. Without too much complicity by the servicemen or agents involved that would try it if needed.

Especially if the terror movement is not so badly wounded Bush makes his own fear campaign irrelevant. So far the growing terrorist movement has not hit the American public, much to the vocal conternation and pique of Bush aides(off camera of course).

8. it's probably more likely
that if they discovered his remains they'd keep it secret for an October surprise rather than a live body. The latter would be pretty difficult to remain secret.

9. Rule #1
Never attempt humor with Mort Kondracke or any other Faux employee. They are humor and nuance impaired, and should be respected for their disabilities.

Rule #2:

Never attempt conversation with Mort Kondracke or any other Faux employee. They are acutely unfamiliar with interpersonal communications and may take it as a threat to their private parts.

Rule #3:

Never find yourself within a three-mile radius of Mort Kondracke or any other Faux employee. They don't deserve your presence, and you don't deserve their nasty dispositions.

Rule #4:

Should you encounter a flaming Mort Kondracke or any other Faux employee, do not waste precious bodily fluids in an attempt to help. Someone else will be along soon enough. It's simply not your problem.
