Car bomb kills one and wounds four in Baghdad

A car bomb killed one person and wounded four in central Baghdad on Sunday, police said.

The blast was about 100 metres from the Iranian embassy, but police said the diplomatic mission did not appear to have been the target. The embassy compound was not damaged.

One person has been killed in a car bomb explosion near the Iranian embassy in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, Iraqi police have said.

Four other people were injured in the explosion, which happened at the height of morning rush hour.
