4. Our troops will keep dying while Congress fiddles and plays games
with their lives.

If we want to save America we need to clean out both sides. We need all new candidates except for a few chosen ones who are trying to save America.

6. On the eve of a senate vote NOT to begin withdrawal...
Those senators voting NAY thought they were protecting the soldiers. The Iraqis don't want us there! Why is it so difficult to understand that we were never welcomed there to begin with? We need a timetable, and we need to drop it from cargo planes all over Iraq if we really want to protect our troops. Get them out!

Baghdad bomb kills 4 US troops as Senate rejects pull-out

by Bryan Pearson 2 hours, 53 minutes ago

BAGHDAD (AFP) - Four US soldiers were killed on Thursday when their convoy was bombed in Baghdad and 27 Iraqis died in other violence as the US Senate rejected a Democratic bid to set a timetable for a troop withdrawal.

"An improvised explosive device (IED) detonated near the unit's vehicles as they were returning from cordon and search operations," the military said, after earlier having reported five soldiers killed the previous day.

"The second IED detonated shortly after the initial blast, killing four soldiers and wounding two others."

The twin bombings came at the end of a day of bomb and gun attacks across
Iraq, even as Britain's Prime Minister
Tony Blair said the country was not in the grip of a civil war.
