Poll: President Bush's disapproval numbers rise

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- More Americans disapprove of President Bush's stewardship of the country than they did in March, according to a new CNN/Opinion Research Corporation Poll.

Last month, Bush's disapproval rating was at 56 percent, but it has climbed to 62 percent, while his approval rating dropped from 37 percent to 36 percent.

The last time the majority of people approved of the way the president was handling his job was in March 2005.

"The president has been without majority approval for over two years," CNN Senior Political Analyst Bill Schneider said....

Perhaps Chimperor, like Hitler before him, would also laugh at my "liberal weakness" at still giving him the benefit of the doubt or thinking he was anything like us Filthy Little Nobodies.

As always, the Enlightenment Person is examining and weighing evidence while the Totalitarian Person is running them through the belly with a bayonet. After all, whatever Bushler is, he has no doubts nor hesitation, like many sociopathic state criminals throughout history.

However, as history shows, when Enlightenment get pissed, then Loyal Nazis and Loyal Bushies...LOOK OUT!

21. Agree.
That's why polls are "designed" and not just "done."

I expect an honest poll would now have him no higher than 27%, but that's just my opinion.

34. The 36% approval is not based on support of * but hate of Dems
What he has left are the rich benefiting from his economic policies, the true faith based idiots, and the people who don't care for him, but hate progressives more than they dislike Bush/Chenney. The Rich are about 1-2% maybe, the idiots I'd guess at around 10%. The rest are more into hate of the left than support of *.

20. Does This Mean 5%
of the population has *finally* decided that he's as big a clown as we have long believed? If his disapproval rate has gone to 62 (an increase of 6) and his approval has dropped by one (MOE aside) that equals 5 percent of some sector has changed its collective mind. (Somebody check my math!) Who would that be? Independents? Or Base Conservatives?

25. This is not a poll of Bush's poor performance...
It's a poll of our fellow American's poor performance. He should never have been elected in the first place. Or rather, the election should never had been close enough to steal. As I'm buying gas at $2.80 a gallon my only happiness is that the morons are paying this blood money too, and they have the realization that they are the fools that caused this scamming of America. Sadly, they'll never feel the responsibility for all the murder because that doesn't touch them or visibly effect their pocketbooks. This situation we're in this country's fault... stupid, greedy pigs. George Bush is just a carney at the fair yelling "Step right up!... try your luck!", over and over and over and over and over.......

44. former Perot voters have finally given up on Bush..
Bush won most of the voters who backed Perot in 92 and 96. That is why Bush won the electoral college in 2000 and the popular vote in 2004.

But now the only ones who still approve of this loser are the die-hard supporters who backed Bush's dad in 1992 and loathed Clinton for being the most successful President in nearly four decades! Even those who latched on to being compassionate conservatives and winning the War on Terrorism now only feel contempt whenever these same Republican tricks reused.

the booming deficits, Bush's failure to keep our country safe, and the Democrats' strategy in Congress of holding Bush accountable in Iraq has given our party a needed boost in every part of our country. Even if Democrats don't win the White House in 2008, we have another opportunity to substantially increase our majority in Congress and to make our presence known in state and local elections.
