Patrol struck by IED south of Baghdad
Multi-National Division – Center PAO

BAGHDAD – A Task Force Marne Soldier was killed and two were wounded when their dismounted patrol was struck by a roadside bomb 15 miles southwest of Baghdad today.

The names of the dead and wounded are being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.

1. Task force Marne

Task Force Marne is a designation for Multinational Division Center based at Camp Victory, Baghdad.
I don't believe there are any Marine elements. It appears to be all Army. See Wikipedia's Iraq War Order of Battle.

April 21 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq as of 2000 GMT
on Saturday:

* BAGHDAD - A U.S. soldier was killed and another was wounded when they came
under small-arms fire in eastern Baghdad on Saturday, the U.S. military said.

* BAGHDAD - A U.S. soldier was killed and three others were wounded after their
vehicle was hit by a roadside bomb, which was followed by a small-arms attack,
in southwestern Baghdad on Saturday, the U.S. military said.

Three U.S. soldiers were killed and six were wounded Saturday
in separate attacks in Baghdad and southwest of the capital,
the military said.

A roadside bomb killed one U.S. soldier and wounded two while
they were on a foot patrol southwest of Baghdad. Another died
and three were wounded when their vehicle was struck by a
roadside bomb, followed by small-arms fire in southwestern
Baghdad, the military said. A combat security patrol also was
attacked by small-arms fire, killing a soldier and wounding
another in an eastern section of the capital.

A separate roadside bombing, in Diwaniyah about 80 miles
south of the capital, killed a Polish soldier late Friday.
