3. So very sad.
Singing about peace on earth last night at church made me so sad because I knew as long as bush is in office it will never happen.

4. Why does war have to be the way of life?
Only one day a week do most talk about brotherhood and love.

5. I'll never forget ...
the MASH episode where the doctors falsified a soldiers death certificate (by turn the clock ahead a half hour to 12/26). The reason was so that his children did not have to remember Christmas day as the day their father died.

Every death is sad. The ones on Christmas day are especially painful.

Merry "Whatever the hell you celebrate"

Cheers
Drifter

9. The times report is lacking in detail

...about the nature of these deaths. The restrictions on reporting over there seem to be choking off the news.

On edit: I think they are referring to the four deaths reported yesterday.

this sort of sickening, prolonged stress changes people. The effects of this war go far, far past the dead soldiers and their families.

13. Despciable
Why is this continuing?

The capture of Saddam Hussein may very well help the morale of the soldiers over there, but if this stuff continues for a few more months all will be right back to where things stood on Decemeber 12.
