Body found in Iraq may be another missing GI
Source: New York Times

Baghdad, Iraq - Two more American soldiers have died from roadside bombs, the American military said Sunday, as American forces decided to run DNA tests on a body that could be that of one of the remaining two missing soldiers seized in an ambush May 12 south of Baghdad.

Military officials warned that the body, found Sunday at an undisclosed location, did not initially appear to fit descriptions of either Spec. Alex R. Jimenez, 25, of Lawrence, Mass., or Pvt. Byron W. Fouty, 19, of Waterford, Mich.

But the discovery of the body was significant enough to require DNA tests, military officials said, suggesting that the body was not clearly that of an Iraqi.

The confirmation of the bombing deaths suggested that May could soon become the deadliest month of the year for American troops.

6. The reportage has been confusing. First, they said one, then three.
Maybe this is someone else. :(

I hate BushCo.

7. Hard for them to keep their lies straight...
If the three were found together, and thats a big if then it means that
even more of our troops were put in danger for a propaganda piece.

8. IIRC, the Iraqis who reported the body in the river said they'd seen three,
but that two had sunk or drifted away before the Americans arrived. I never saw any report of any follow-up to that, so it could be that the initial claim was discredited somehow...
