2. Predictable
Leave it to them to blame it all on a low-level staffer we never heard of, while Condi and Uncle Dickie keep their hands clean. If the staffer eventually has to be fired, so be it.

5. Not quite low level
Hadley is under Condy

but the page is by the door with Condy's sword...

It is a matter of time for her Lord to demand she
fall on it.

8. Not low level
If I recall, he was in the war cabinet after 9/11. He is one below Condi. He was also roughly the same level in the 1st Bush admin.

6. Don't let a trifle like that war make you feel guilty - plenty of Iraqis
left alive - no big deal!

9. I am going to say it again, and I do believe this whole heartedly
If this does not quiet the outcry then somebody else will take the blame. If this silences the opposition then administration people will stop saying they did it. As long as we keep pushing we will get higher and higher up in the "I take credit, my fault" department. Just short of Bush, Chenney, Rumsfeld or Powell taking the fall. Rice has already exposed her vulnerability and willingness to fall on her sword. I think Bush, Chenney will be the last 2 to admit to wrong doing, they have an elction coming up. If Powell or Rumsfeld takes the fall then it is getting pretty desperate. I think Powell would go first before Rumsfeld.
