STATE DEPARTMENT (AP) - Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Iraq's foreign minister have met to assess the situation and plot strategy in Iraq, following a grim assessment from US commander General David Petraeus.

The meeting is part of a renewed US effort to press the Iraqi government to clamp down on sectarian violence.

1. Nine or ten more years, say that could mean Americans will go
...on borrowing hundreds of billions of dollars, sending over men and women by the tens of thousands, implementing a draft and turning an entire generation of Americans into warriors and finishing the job of implementing a fascist military state in America. It will also mean that over nine to ten years most Iraqis will be eradicated and the oil reserves there depleted.

3. I don't know why that just made me laugh out loud
I mean, just read that: "Iraq's foreign minister"....)translate: The good Americans paid to act like he's Iraq's foreign minister who will be in serious trouble as soon as we're run out of there)...then we got, Condi Rice and this dude 'evaluating the situation in Iraq'....giant mental picture of these two folks sitting around a table with bombs whizzing by and people dying and the entire country coming apart at the seams, and Condi is trying in that inane way of hers to try to say something good about it, or to pretend its getting all better with that cat at the canary look on her face, hoping no one noticed she just destroyed 26 million people's lives with her idiocy.

I guess I'm just tired or worrying or scolding.

These people are just laughably stupid

"Things are astonishing"

"Things are .....improving...."

"Things are ..needing some work.."

"Things are spiraling out of control".
