Bomb kills 3 British soldiers in Iraq

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - A roadside bomb killed three British
soldiers and wounded another in the southern Iraqi city
of Basra on Thursday, the British military said.

Spokesman Major David Gell said the blast occurred in
southeastern Basra in the early hours of Thursday while
the soldiers were on foot.

2. Nobody else there, 5000 British troops, a smattering of others, and soon to be 200K American troops.

And the British want to leave.

BushCo has to have a another 80k (more) troops (which is why the escalation) so to bring home 100K before the 2008 election and claim victory for the republicans.

Even though we'll still be in Iraq and the killing, death and fighting will go on with our continued occupation, only with less troops, until after the 2008 elections of course.
