Impeach Cheney, (Rep. James P.) Moran says

WASHINGTON -- Rep. James P. Moran, D-8th, signed today as a co-sponsor of a resolution with articles of impeachment against Vice President Dick Cheney, according to Moran's spokesman.

The resolution was introduced in April by Rep. Dennis Kucinich, D-Ohio, a presidential hopeful.

Moran "feels that the vice president has repeatedly misled the American public on Iraq and deserves to be impeached," said the Virginian's spokesman, Austin Durrer.

"His peddling of non-existent (weapons of mass destruction) and fabricated ties with al-Qaida have led us into a disastrous war whose full costs won't be fully realized for generations. Mr. Moran's co-sponsoring of the resolution is a statement of extreme disapproval of Mr. Cheney's actions," Durrer said.

4. Holy mackeral! I distinctly remember Moran in a town hall meeting with Murtha
last year(?) stating unequivocally that impeachment is off the table, because I remember how angry that made me. Hmm! Things are looking up!
