Another Downturn: Bush Souvenirs In Crawford, Texas
Source: WSJ

CRAWFORD, Texas -- For the last presidential election campaign, Norma Nelson Crow hung an 11-foot-long banner above her thriving souvenir shop here that said, "Bush 2004." On election night, she and her employees celebrated by overlaying it with a new word, so the banner read, "Bush Wins."

These days, another banner flaps in the hot August breeze: "Building for Sale."

Ms. Crow's store, Crawford Country Style, closed last October after 4½ years in business, as the flow of tourists arriving here for a glimpse of President Bush dried up.

7. What the hell WERE those souvenirs, anyway?
I thought the "Bush in a flight suit" doll was a mockup, not a real product.

I could understand a Bush bobble-head doll...'cause that's what he is, anyway...

...but what else? Bush ash trays? Bush shot glasses? Bush Hummel dolls?

20. Can you think of a more appropriate Bush souvenir than a shot glass?
Coke spoons, rolled-up $100 bills, razor blades, mirrors, bongs, roach clips, syringes, scales, triple-neck flasks and the like are NEVER appropriate, so don't go there.

9. The Bush "ranch" is just a prop anyway
As soon as he leaves office, he'll sell the ranch and move into some suburban Dallas or Houston gated community.

Hopefully, this presidency will be the final nail in the coffin of the "modern CON-servative movement". They've terrorized us long enough.

18. wonder if she stocks the "Pull My Finger President"?
It's a little plush caricature of Dubya, that makes farting noises and cackles inanely when you pull its finger.
