Oscar-winner Jane Wyman dead at 93

LOS ANGELES (AFP) — Jane Wyman, the Oscar-winning actress from Hollywood's golden era and ex-wife of late US President Ronald Reagan, died Monday aged 93, officials said.

Wyman, who won a best actress Academy Award for her portrayal of a deaf rape victim in "Johnny Belinda" before later appearing in the hit television soap "Falcon Crest," died at her Palm Springs home, according to William Martin with Forest Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary in Cathedral City.

No further information was immediately available.

she did have the smarts to eventually dump him. I didn't realize though that she was a repug too so she certainly wasn't overly bright.

7. I always felt she had class for refusing to dish the dirt about her ex-husband.
And I'm sure there WAS dirt. Jane was OK -- too bad she raised such an ass of a son (Michael... yeeech)
