Russia, China enjoy strategic relationship - Putin

MOSCOW. Oct 1 (Interfax) - The level of Russian-Chinese relations is unprecedentedly high, President Vladimir Putin said in a message to his Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao on the occasion of the 58th anniversary of the People's Republic of China.

"I am glad to say that relations between Russia and China have developed into a strategic and trustful partnership. Their level is unprecedentedly high. The great success of the Year of China in Russia is an illustration of that," the message runs.

"The people of China have outstanding achievements in the socio- economic development, science, culture and other spheres. China has become a power to reckon with in the world; it plays an important role in the development of neighborly relations, stability and security in the Asia Pacific region and the world at large," the message runs.

2. I was reading today that Russia is flush with cash
well actually the artcile said russia had massive reserves. How did they go from a broke/failed country in such a short time?

3. Simple. Natual Reasourses {Oil, Gas, etc}
In fact if the mid-east is f'ed up due to america's idiotic future actions (i.e bombing Iran_. Europe {and China) may have to go Russia for oil, and gas. Something that Europe doesn't like one bit.

4. Not that it is a big deal anyway.
If anything major, such as USA V China, or USA V Russia occured, it is M.A.D. We are all ash. Great to think about, isnt it?
