Court told de Menezes photo manipulated

LONDON (Reuters) - A photo produced by police to
show the similarity between an innocent Brazilian
shot dead by armed officers and a London bomb
plotter was dishonestly manipulated, a court was
told on Wednesday.

Jean Charles De Menezes was shot seven times in
the head on an underground train in London in
July 2005 by officers who had wrongly identified
him as one of four men who had tried to attack
the capital's transport system the day before.

The composite picture showed half of Menezes'
face and half that of Hussein Osman, one of four
men jailed earlier this year for plotting the
unsuccessful attacks.

Prosecuting lawyer Clare Montgomery told a jury
at Old Bailey court that the photo had been
altered either by stretching or resizing.

The composite picture was shown to jurors earlier
this month to illustrate the difficulties officers
would have had in distinguishing the two men.

That's plenty enough to qualify as fraudulent evidence in a court of law.

time to admit it...does not matter that they are stretched and contorted...they all have dark hair, brown eyes and skin darker than the pink pig! I ARREST MY CASE!

I was visiting my folks last week in Ohio.
I told my mom that all the men around there were like asians or black people.
she asked what I meant by that and I told her they all looked the same to me.
Buzz cut, beer belly, red kneck bubba looking.
just sayin.

two women or was the same woman...turns out they have two blondes whose hair is the same and they pretty much look exactly alike. (at least I think they have two blondes on...still wondering)

In both line ups, Jean Charles De Menezes is on th the left and Osman Hussein is on the right.

But if you look closely, beyond the skin tone, they actually have similar features. I can see why they would want to alter the pictures to save their guilty asses.

They have like ears and eyes and hair! OMFG THEY'RE CLONES!!!!

I'd like to know the real reason that this young man was targeted and executed by the London police. This case stinks to high heaven and has from day one.

Plus he wasn't wearing the heavy jacket they said he was or acting suspiciously. So, it's beside the point if they even looked similarly...which they don't.
