Government Suspends Small-Business Loans ...
Agency Says It Ran Out of Money

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A63839-2004Jan7.html

The Small Business Administration said yesterday that it suspended its main $9.4 billion loan program because it had run out of money.

The 7(a) Loan Guaranty program benefits business owners who typically do not qualify for traditional bank loans, said Sue Hensley, an SBA spokeswoman. Yesterday, major lenders said the program's suspension, even though temporary, is a sharp blow to small-business owners.

Some members of Congress, meanwhile, said the agency did not request enough money to meet mounting loan demand.

4. Guess they ran out of $$$. Must be all the unemployed, tired of being
sold out by big business that decided to start their own small business.
Whoops, can't let you do that either.

8. That is what they are always saying also.
I get a kick out of it. They put 20,000 out of work and say they start a business. Funny. Does anyone believe that?

6. You probably remember he gibbered continually in his 2000 campaign
about his hopes to increase opportunities and support for American small business men and women, and the every popular "entrepreneurs," a word he relished saying, it's having 4 syllables!

It's a whole different picture now, isn't it?

11. If you're not Halliburton or Enron, Bush hates you.
Bush is the worst thing that has ever happened to this country.

I cannot wait for the day when Bush is in leg irons and handcuffs for the massive fraud he has perpetrated on the American people.

Let his fellow terrorist supporter Grover Norquist warm the cell.

These people are traitors to democracy, to capitalism, too.

Cronyism is not captialism, it's akin to the French monarchy's corruption which bankrupted that country (and led to some nasty repercussions...just remember that when the American people start calling for your head on a pike, Grover.
