Toys 'R' Us recalls Elite Operations toys for lead
Wed Oct 31, 2007 12:37pm EDT

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Toys "R" Us Inc is recalling
about 16,000 Elite Operations toys because the surface
coatings of the military-style toys contain excessive
levels of lead, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety
Commission said on Wednesday.

The Chinese-made toys were sold from July 2007
through October 2007, and include Super Rigs (#1004),
Command Patrol Center (#1020), Barracuda Helicopter
(#1023), and 3 Pack 8-inch Figures (#1024).

No other Elite Operations brand military play sets are
included in this recall, the agency said.

7. they're probably a bit ticked off...

for years they've been able to use military toys to poison our kids instead of having to use the real thing - and B*shco has allowed, if not encouraged it with his policies opening the doors to whatever 'goods' the corporations want to send into this country...
