Bhutto flying back to Pakistan from Dubai - husband
Source: Reuters

Former prime minister Benazir Bhutto boarded a flight back to Pakistan from Dubai on Saturday, her husband said, after President Pervez Musharraf invoked emergency powers and suspended the country's constitution.

"(She's flying back) tonight, yes of course," Bhutto's husband Asif Ali Zardari told Reuters by telephone from Dubai, saying she was already on the plane.

"It's definitely not pleasant news, it's not welcome news," he added. "We're hoping to build institutions, not destroy them."

1. Mussharraf will have her killed, like Wellstone or Benino Aquino or anyone
who dares oppose the Bushies and their pals.

I hope she takes good care of herself, because Bushies like Mussharraf do not hesitate to murdertheir opponents, and they have an easier time of it when not in the BushPutinist Homeland of Amerika, where the whole think has to look like a "tragic accident".

Bhutto, if she isn't careful is going to find out that the Pakistani Bushies don't have to do all that pussyfooting around.

4. She can stay at the airport ...
... until tomorrow morning, to decide whether or not to fly back out. Nothing more's going to happen tonight, IMO.

Troops surround Bhutto’s home; U.S. calls developments ‘regrettable’
Opposition leader Benazir Bhutto flew from Dubai on Saturday and was sitting on a plane at Karachi airport, waiting to see if she would be arrested or deported, her spokesman Wajid Hasan said after speaking to the former prime minister by telephone from London.

Witnesses said 100 police and paramilitary troops were deployed at her home in Karachi, though it was not immediately clear if they were there as a protective cordon or to apprehend the opposition leader. A bomb disposal squad was also at the scene.

She's sitting at the airport waiting to see what Musharraf will do? She shouldn't have to be in such a crazy situation.
