Former A&M administrator pleads to child sex charges
Source: Associated Press

BRYAN — A Brazos County jury has begun hearing testimony in the punishment hearing for a former Texas A&M University administrator who pleaded guilty to seven child sex charges.

Brian Lancaster, 36, pleaded guilty this week to five counts of indecency with a child by contact, one count of criminal solicitation of a minor and one count of indecency with a child by exposure.

...

Police began investigating Lancaster after two young sisters told their mother that Lancaster tried to take their clothes off or touch them while they waited at his home to take piano lessons from his former wife.

His defense attorney says "His life is too important...to be flushed away forever".

Bullshit.

1. I note the article says "former wife"
Hope he doesn't have a current one, or children. This sort of thing can be devastating to the families, especially the kids.

13. He got his bachelor's and master's at Abilene Christian University.
Lancaster, who recently received his doctorate in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M, earned his bachelor's and master's degrees at Abilene Christian University.

Online public records indicate that Lancaster was sentenced to two years probation in 1994 after he was convicted of indecency with a child sexual contact, a second-degree felony, in a Lampasas County court. He is not listed on the state's online sex offender database.

A real crook - He and his wife was so bad Texas A&m decided not to make him president of the school after he left the senate.

20. My daughter was leaning republican
....but when she got to A&M (graduated in 2004) she was so repulsed by all the right-wing propoganda, she took a turn for the better, and is now a staunch democrat! there are quite a few democrats on campus, but they hang out in small groups and don't associate much with the hierarchy at A&M.

She went on to spend the year after graduation working at a battered women;s shelter there in Bryan, Texas, and finished her MBA this year at North Texas State University.

3. The sentences for the five 'indecency by contact' charges...
should be ran consecutively, IMO. And I hope that this RW, short-eyed fucker gets what he deserves in the penitentiary he is going to. There should be no leniency nor any mercy shown to these offenders. They certainly didn't show any towards any of their victims.

It should not be trivialized or wished upon anyone.

6. I disagree
MoFo's like this POS deserve ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that comes to them.

Of course, my preferred method is to expand the Death Penalty and just execute the MoFo's.

If someone's in jail for ANYTHING OTHER than rape, murder and pedophilia, then obviously I wouldn't wish ANY heinous act to be committed on them....but POS like rapists, murderers and especially pedophiles, I don't give a jackshit what happens to them.

11. I never specifically "wished" rape on this POS.
However, where he is going rape is an everyday fact of life - as is stabbings, and fights, etc. If he gets himself raped in prison because of what he did to children while free in society, then sobeit. I can tell you now that I would not lose a bit of sleep over it. Conversely, if this creep got himself pinned up in a shadowy corner of the prison somewhere and stabbed to death... well, that would be okay too in my book. I don't see where the normal rules and correctness apply to scum like this.

14. I doubt you would advocate state sponsered rape
Yet somehow you feel that 'if it happens' it is okay.

Tell me, do you approve of vigilante justice outside of prison too?

If so, what for what crimes do you consider forcible sodomy acceptable? What about lynchings? In what other instances is it okay with you for mob rule to make sure someone ‘gets what they deserve’?

25. Good points. Welcome to DU, walnutpie.
It's horrible to see rape wished upon anyone...or a blind eye turned towards the issue of prison rape (even if one only "allows" it selectively).

8. His lawyer is a jackass
This POS life SHOULD be flushed away.

As SOON as they even TOUCH a child, in my opinion, they AUTOMATICALLY forfeit ALL of their Civil Rights AND ALL of their Human Rights....as soon as they TOUCH as child, they cease to be a human being anymore.

What do you do with a mad dog? You put it down.

Genuine mad dog doesn't that's for sure.

I have no time for POS like this POS in the article, just drive them out into the desert and leave them there for the buzzards and coyotes to deal with....or dig a pit and throw them in it.

I don't even have an OUNCE of human feeling for them, they're just....objects and wastes of human skin as far as I'm concerned.

I don't buy this crap about the POS being a "victim" as well either, it's just horsecrap is what it is.

On Edit: Dammit spelling error
