Rumsfeld Says U.S. to Release Photos of Saddam Sons
WASHINGTON (Reuters)

Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said on Wednesday the United States would release graphic photographs of the dead sons of Saddam Hussein ---

"There will be pictures released," Rumsfeld told reporters on Capitol Hill after meeting with members of the U.S. House of Representatives. Rumsfeld did not say when the photos would be released other than saying "soon."

15. I thought the same thing myself
I'm sure that showing the dead bodies of enemy soldiers is banned, and it was certainly criticised by the US and UK in the past.

4. Rummy, Wolfy and the boys aren't done with them yet
they're taking turns using them as masturbatory material.

I can just imagine the gleam in Rummy's eyes when he talks about these photos.

6. I am NO fan of this administration...but they will be damned if they do
and damned if they don't. I say...bring on the pics.

I want bush* to lose but not the Iraqi people. Hey if 500 soldiers stay alive and 10,000 Iraqis I can do bush* for 4 more years....he has already stolen all the riches he cannot steal any more. We are broke and disheartened. But if it means lives saved...I will suck it up. What else can we do? I know no one here wants to see more lives lost..and bush* aint pulling out! Lets hope for Iraq to welcome America?

Did I mention I hated bush* with a passion?

9. He isn't finished stealing, and yes, you can be "broker".
We still have natural resources. Many people still have jobs. There is a lot more harm that can still be done to this country by Bush.

Accommodating, caving in, submitting won't save us from anything. He will do what he can get away with.

If we want to be welcomed by the Iraqis, we should stop stealing their oil. Showing pictures of dead people doesn't prove anything, and isn't likely to win the Iraqis over.

As soon as they need the next diversion from the growing scandal, the pictures will be released. I can't wait.

11. Oh my - we have reached the level of the ragheads
"Specifically, the Arab world has no problem at all with showing very gruesome photos of human beings," the (defence)official said."

Those uncivilized, inferior barbarians....

whoops!
Now what are we going to do?????

"There will be pictures released," Rumsfeld told reporters

We have gone into the "bowels of the Arab world" - oh, Condi, where art thou?

12. Do we really need to go back to
the days of the Wild West and publish death photos of our conquests of outlaws? To be sure, these guys were probably major league a-holes, but they don't deserve this.

You have to wonder how Babs and Jenna's SS teams are feeling about this whole deal. I imagine they are a bit twitchy as of late.

17. Although I question whether or not his son deserve this
I dont question that his 14 YEAR OLD GRANDSON did not deserve what happened to him, whether they show off the fruits their murderous acts or not.

And I do not question that we do not deserve (and shouldn't want to) glorify our own evil.

Are they putting Viagra in the water now?

13. Weren't they charred beyond recognition?
If so, what's the point of releaseing pictures? How will this offer any sort of proof to anybody?

14. I've heard that Peter Jennings hinted
that the showing of the sons' pictures would open the way to showing dead GI's pictures.
