Dallas crowd calls for end to Roe vs. Wade as anniversary nears
Source: Dallas News

Penna Dexter seemed to speak for the hundreds gathered in downtown Dallas on Saturday afternoon when she told them they were commemorating "with sadness" the 35th anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion nationwide.

"We are praying and we are asking ... for the overturn of Roe v. Wade," said Ms. Dexter, an announcer on the syndicated radio program "Life on the Line."

Those in attendance, who braved the cold for events planned mainly by three anti-abortion organizations, clapped and cheered as speakers addressed them.

Holly Morgan, director of media relations and communications for Planned Parenthood of North Texas, declined to comment on the anti-abortion event but said the group planned commemoration events of its own in the coming week.

4. From a political standpoint ....

From a human standpoint, I feel sorry for all the human tragedy that will follow. Lots of desperate women dying in back ally abortions. Lots of flights to Canada, Mexico and the Carribean by women (especially freepers) who can afford to.

From a political standpoint ... they'll give it all up. Liberals will fight a state by state battle to amend the constitution and the conservatives WILL lose.

5. Meanwhile, back on Planet Earth...
...the stock markets are bleeding red, unemployment is rising, the natural environment is srating to fray, and ordinary citizens are facing tough challenges. But that's no problem for those people, who can spend their days on useless things like this.

7. Abortion and a Gay Marriage is a PRIVATE MATTER...
There is a list of reasons why someone would have an abortion, it is a safe option. Rather then the back alley procedure..

Regardless of the decision, people will still find a way to have the abortion. those smucks act as though people are encouraged to have an abortion, which they are not. RoeVWade gives the person who has made the DECISION the right to make that choice, I do not want someone to have an abortion. But if they choose to do so, that is their business and not mine.

Even if they choose to have the kid and give it up to the state, we all have to pay for it. Taking care of orphaned children is not free.

If they do not want an abortion, then those folks have the right to not have it. But they need to keep their mouth shut about what others decide to do with their reproductive rights.
