Source: CNN

(CNN) – Rudy Giuliani may drop out of the Republican presidential race and endorse John McCain, perhaps as soon as Wednesday, GOP sources tell CNN.

One source says there have been "ongoing discussuons" between the Giuliani campaign and Rick Davis about the move.

A source close to Giuliani confirms the discussions, and says there is staff talk of arranging it Wednesday on California. The source said the principals still need to talk, but "we are working to make it happen."

They're speculating that the effort now is not whether to do it but how - something both campaigns have reportedly been looking at for several hours now, to hear Howard Fineman and Tweety talk.

4. And that's "fewer" taxes, idiot, not "less taxes"
Drives me nuts. He's supposedly educated.

I know we should be hoping for all these losers to stay in it, and for the field to stay uncertain... but I cannot stand that man. He's another Bush - the ego, the far-right foreign policy, the idea the law pertains to the other guy... Just can't stand him!

5. VP as back door to presidency
Guilliani is looking to be President one way or other. Looking at McCain's age, ec. Guilliani thinks he will be President sooner or later.
