U.S. Soldier Dies in Iraq Grenade Attack
TIKRIT, Iraq - A U.S. soldier died Sunday of wounds suffered in a grenade attack on his Bradley vehicle that was patrolling an Iraqi town, a spokeswoman said.

Insurgents fired the rocket propelled grenade at the Bradley in Baiji, piercing the driver's compartment and critically wounding the soldier, said Maj. Josslyn Aberle, a spokeswoman for the 4th Infantry Division.

1. Ugh! Despicable!
Further evidence that this whole war is just a giant clusterf***

When Baghdad fell on April 9th we were told the war was over, but it wasn't.

On May 1st our flight-suit dressed president told us the mission was accomplished, but it wasn't.

On July 2nd Saddam's sons were killed and we were told the insurgency would wind down. It did not.

On December 13th Saddam Hussein was captured and we were told Americans would be safer as a result.

9. 'BRING EM ON " shouted the AWOL CHIMPANZEE
and "BRING IT ON", the Resistance did.

"OH MY GOD"' cried the NEW Gold Star Mother--"My Son is DEAD".

"He died for Halliburton", reflected the Wall Street stock trader.

"He died for NOTHING", grumbled the disabled Viet-Nam vet.

"Where's our car", asked the little girl whose father was killed.

"It was repossessed by the Bank", sobbed her mother.

"The President cut our survivor's benefits". she cried.

"Get in Step YOU MAGGOTS", shouted the drill Sergeant.

"You have some RAGHEADS to kill"

"Where have all the flowers Gone?"
"Where have all the soldiers gone?"
"Gone to graveyards every one"
"When will they ever learn?"

Rest in Peace men and women

Thanks for expressing my anger so well yet again. I am so worried for my cousin after yesterday's violence. He is an Army Reserve MP stationed in Baghdad. He is supposed to be home in April. I pray he comes home safe and sane. I hate that fucking aWOl, chimpass* coward in the WH. May he see his reign end in impeachment and humiliation..... :(

24. Good Morning LC
Just got back from Sunday Services.

The message was clear. We all are important in God's eyes, and the littlest voice in the wilderness will be heard.

We must speak out on all levels to this orgy of Greed, Lust for Power, Avarice and Killing.

19. An excellent post, saigon68.
We should be repeating this one over and over:

"Bring 'em on", shouted the AWOL Chimpanzee. And "Bring it on" the resistance did.

21. Here's another despicable statement. Gen. Peter Schoomaker, US Army

""There is a huge silver lining in this cloud," he said.

"War is a tremendous focus... Now we have this focusing opportunity, and we have the fact that have actually attacked our homeland, which gives it some oomph."

OOMPH??

2. Good another one
One more closer to the number when people realize why Howard Dean is mad about this. I mean no disrespect to this soldier, their family or the unit they serve in, I am just trying to say that sometimes you have to set the foot on fire to get it to move. Lighting a fire under it does not always work.

4. Why?
The US invaded Iraq. Toppled the regime and the Kurds captured Saddam. Iraq is liberated. Why are 130,000 American troops and other troops still there? If they weren't there they wouldn't be getting killed and maimed in Iraq, so why aren't they ordered back to the USA or elsewhere?

17. Why? The troops have to protect the hard won booty, (Oil)
...and the Halliburton workers must be protected while they rip the tax payers off rebuilding Iraq and the things the U.S. didn't destroy.

20. Look at what Sanchez had to say about the Iraq-Qaeda Link this AM.....
<BAGHDAD (Reuters) - The top U.S. military commander in Iraq said Sunday there was evidence ties might be growing between al Qaeda and Saddam Hussein loyalists waging a bloody insurgency in the country.

"What you see is a lot of fingerprints in terms of the tactics and techniques and procedures that are being employed. We are working very hard to establish whether there are today positive links," Lt. Gen. Ricardo Sanchez said in an interview.

"We believe that those links may be growing." >
