Clinton Issues Post-Primary Schedule (Yes, Post-Primary Schedule)
Source: ABC News

ABC News' Eloise Harper Reports: The press traveling with Sen. Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign received an email Thursday afternoon informing reporters they could sign up for travel through June 6 on the campaign website.

Given the speculation surrounding plausible outcomes from this Saturday's DNC Meeting and the final Democratic primaries on June 3, many confused looks passed between reporters on the back of the press bus.

When asked for comment, Clinton spokesman Jay Carson looked past Tuesday's primaries to the general election.

"There are a lot of places for us to go between June 4 and November," Carson said.

4. "Delusional",
thats a bit of an understatement. I hope she wakes up to what she may be doing to her chances for re-election by refusing to accept what the math reality is trying to tell her.

6. And they wonder why we won't stop "hating" on her.
The place she'll be going is into history as the person who destroyed the Democratic Party on the alter of her own ego.

7. Where will she campaign for Obama?
I assume she means to heal the party and unite her backers in order to elect us a new leader, and I don't mean John McCain.

10. Is that still even possible?
She's made it clear that she prefers McCain.

14. ??? Are you a woman? If so, have you ever worked 16 hour days involving...
air flight, walking miles every day, standing for hours on end, walking up airplane stairs and escalators while being followed by cameras...all while wearing heels and a dress? If so, then you can appreciate why a business woman with such a schedule would choose to wear business pantsuits and comfy shoes.

I am a middle aged woman. I wear pants almost exclusively to the office now. It's acceptable these days. Besides, if you want to keep up with the men in the office and be competitive, you have to be ready physically to do some walking.

But also...neither she nor Laura Bush has attractive legs. Just an observation I made.

11. I am really starting to get angry at her. I didn't support either candidate here at DU
but this is getting to me. She might just cause us to lose to McCain. We have 5 months to build a case for our side and every day she stays in takes a day away from that. We need to be fighting the right not each other!@ Also the longer this goes on the closer to the election the ill feelings will be. Let's get over Hillary and pull together now!

12. Of course there's another possible reading to this -
That is that the June 6th date mentioned for press travel is a possible concession event, and further travel plans would be to support the Democratic nominee, perhaps in states she won as a primary contender. That would seem a positive move going into the General Election if both Obama and Clinton concur.

I realize that Sen. Clinton intends to campaign through the last of the primaries and Sen. Obama is intent on focusing now on the General Election and McCain. Both, imho, are understandable courses given their respective positions in the likely outcome.

Just throwing out another possible scenario.

I'm willing to wait 'till the middle of next week to see how this plays out. Not much in the big picture will change between now and then, I presume. After that, we'll see how it goes.
