World's First Gay Farm
Russian gay rights activists are planning to set up the world's first gay-only communal farm.

Activist Valery Klimov, from Nizhny Tagil, central Russia, told local paper Gazetta that gay men and lesbians would live on the farm and form a self-sustaining community.

The farm will breed cattle and produce dairy and vegetable products.

Klimov said: "It will be up and running from January 2005 in the Sverdlovsk region. Only people of non-traditional sexual orientation will work on the farm."

there's been a lesbian commune in my neck of the woods for several years now. No, it's not true that they won't allow males on the property-my husband was called to fix their truck.
