Obama world tour reaches France
Source: BBC

US Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama has arrived in Paris for a brief visit on his world tour ahead of the November election.

He flew into the French capital a day after a public speech in Berlin, where he called for a renewed US partnership with Europe.

...

Mr Obama is meeting French President Nicolas Sarkozy before flying to London, the final stop of his tour.

...

His visit to Paris will last just a few hours, a fact noted by French reporters contrasting it to the long day he spent in Berlin, where he met German leaders before making his speech in the central Tiergarten Park, a venue for big public festivities.

2. Probably trying to avoid the "french stigma" that PUKES like to manufacture
Man haven't they been playing that trick for a few decades? "Oh those French with their liberal values and loose women." Seriously I bet that's why he's not staying longer.

Sorry France. We have some stupid people here and Obama needs to get elected.

3. France succumbs to Obamamania

La France succombe à l'obamania
AP | 25.07.2008 | 20:54

First paragraph reads: "If he is elected president of the United States, France will be very happy," professed Nicolas Sarkozy, not bothering to hide his preference for Barack Obama, who was welcomed enthusiastically during his brief visit to Paris."

Goes on to say, among other things, that Obama wants to do away with stereotypes on both sides -- both European image of US as being unilateralist and militaristic, and US image of Europe as being inattentive to security.

9. well, how terrible. A U.S. president who considers France as, well, an ally.
How did we win WW I and II without our European allies? How did we win the Cold War?

If we can't stop being stupid, we don't deserve a good and able president.

I am appalled just thinking about the what would happen if we can't doe this as a nation...
