Twin car bombings hit Algerian hotel, barracks

Witnesses say twin car bombings have struck a hotel and the military headquarters of the Algerian town of Bouira.

There has been no immediate official comment on casualties. The blasts come a day after a suicide car bombing killed 43 in another Algerian town, Les Issers.

Abdellah Debbache, the Bouira correspondent of Algeria's Liberte newspaper, says the first explosion Wednesday ripped off most of the front of the local military headquarters at about 6 a.m.
