13. We will know if he is a public "NO SHOW" for the 60th anniversary party next week
Edited on Tue Sep-09-08 09:14 AM by ohio2007
He loves being in the limelight.

Is his 2nd oldest ready to become #1 or will the inner circle shake things up ?

2. I thought the latest was that he was dead & had been for months
or longer, relying on doubles to carry of the ruse. Oh, that's right he's hanging out with Osama bin laden, sharing his portable dialysis unit in a cave in Afghanstan....:eyes:

I don't believe anything our "government" reports any more.

3. Although that would make me very happy
hasn't he "suffered" all sorts of maladies reported by "US officials" over the last 10 years? The only way I think we'll find out about this is when his cronies have installed the next disgusting despot.

11. It's more likely that 10,000 weeping cranes will peck the bugger to death.
...or lift him up and drop him on a rock.

12. What is interesting about this is not his impending death.
Karma has long cried out for this or worse. No, it is what will follow. China just took it's many thousands of years old emperor system and put a Mao/Stalin spin on it, complete with warlords(PLA). Korea took its ancient royal system and put a Kim/Stalin-at-his-worst spin on it. In the NK version, it was all built around a quasi-divine cult of personality.

What comes after The Kim Dynasty is gone will be most interesting.

Any other leader of almost any other country I think nothing of it. Except for certain South America countries plus Iran and a couple of others my first thought is always CIA.

23. U.S.: Kim Jong Il may have suffered stroke
Source: msnbc

SEOUL, South Korea - There was no sign of Kim Jong Il at a closely watched parade Tuesday marking the 60th anniversary of North Korea's founding, as a U.S. intelligence report said he may have suffered a stroke.

A U.S. intelligence official said there is reason to believe Kim Jong Il, 66, is sick after he failed to show up at the national celebration. That official and another U.S. source spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.

In a broadcast monitored in Seoul, Korean Central Television showed North Korea's No. 2 leader and other officials atop a viewing stand. Kim Jong Il was not shown.

24. I'm gonna bet the North Koreans claim it makes him even stronger.
And he can how defeat his own bodyguards if they all bum rush him at once and that he can swim ten times as far in the river now.

I love the North Korean Press. My money is that Fox News is taking notes as we speak.

30. I saw where...
I saw where the first time he ever fired a gun he put 10 bullets one right after the other through the center of the target, from more than 100 meters away.
He's like superman.

that he invented the toaster and the jet engine. I guess once you've got the toaster down, the jet engine is a breeze.

26. probably use stand-ins like Hussein...
Only instead of being used as decoys, they'll be used to keep up the appearance that he's still alive.

Sure, the rest of the world will know it's a total crock, but North Koreans won't have a clue.

This of course reminds me of the classic SNL: "Generalissimo Fransisco Franco is still dead! Good night, and have a pleasant tomorrow!!!"
