Poll: Obama keeps lead in Ohio
Source: AP

The Associated Press

(AP) — A new poll shows Barack Obama continues to stay out front in Ohio.

The Quinnipiac (KWIH-nih-pee-ak) University poll shows Obama leads John McCain among likely Ohio voters 50 to 42 percent.

Those numbers are similar to ones released last month by the same poll that had Obama ahead, 49-42.

Obama holds a lead among women and those worried about the economy.

The poll also found that support for McCain's running mate Sarah Palin is slipping slightly.

Six in 10 Ohio voters say the economy is the biggest issue.

The telephone poll of likely voters in Ohio was conducted from Sept. 22-26. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.8 percentage points.

"The new survey shows Obama leading McCain in Florida 51 percent to 43 percent, in Ohio 50 percent to 42 percent and in Pennsylvania 54 percent to 39 percent. Since 1960, no president has been elected without winning two of those three states. "

5. In Ohio all Obama should have to do is mention the DHL sell off
that McNuts was/is for, and Johnny boy should be toast in that state.

6. KWIH-nih-pee-ak
I've never heard it pronounced that way.

I've heard kwih-NIH-pee-ak, and I've heard kwih-nih-PEE-ak, but I've never heard KWIH-nih-pee-ak.

Otherwise: Gobama!

7. Without Ohio, McCain will not win.
He has to run the table of the swing states and he's not.
