Fla. Congressman said to be involved in 2nd affair (Tim Mahoney )
Source: AP

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) — A person close to the campaign of a Florida congressman facing an adultery scandal says the representative was involved in a second affair.

Married U.S. Rep. Tim Mahoney has already been facing accusations he had an affair with a former aide and paid her to keep quiet.

.....

Now, a person close to Mahoney's campaign tells the Associated Press he also was having an affair with another woman around the same time.

The person close to the campaign spoke only on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to openly discuss Mahoney's private life. Mahoney didn't return a message seeking comment.

This is what happens when Republicans are recruited by the DLC to run as Democrats.

3. I wonder why they would tell the press that
Someone close to the campaign? Of course they were not authorized to openly discuss Mahoney's private life. Who would campaigns authorize to tell things like that?
Maybe the source close to the campaign was that other woman.

14. Another Blue Dog recruit of Rahm's
One of the worst things that has happened to the Dem party is Rahm Emanuel. Any GOPer wanting to get elected just has to get Rahm to set him up as a faux Dem.

11. Mahoney was recruited by the DLC. Thanks, Rahm.
Here is more of this whole disgusting DLC tactic in a thread by madfloridian.

Once Obama is in the White House, the next big battle within the party will be to take control of the Democratic agenda away from the DLC-ers, by finding and electing true progressives and liberals in their places. The DLC should be banished from our party, as it pushes corporate and neocon interests over the people's best interests. We are witnesses to the abysmal failure of that agenda.
