Lehman Brothers Holdings is focus of grand jury probes

Prosecutors have opened three grand jury investigations into the collapse of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc (LEHMQ.PK: Quote, Profile, Research, Stock Buzz), Lehman bankruptcy attorney Harvey Miller told a court hearing on Thursday.

The U.S. attorney's offices in the Eastern and Southern districts of NY, and in the district of New Jersey are handling the probes, Miller said at the hearing in the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Some 12 people are already subpoenaed in Lehman probes, the attorney said.

Miller did not specify during the hearing the nature of the investigations.

2. I hope they nail the sons of bitches!

Lehman going down cost my father a great deal of his retirement. The latest news is that 5 executives took bonuses of TWENTY MILLION (20,000,000) EACH THREE DAYS before the company declared bankruptcy. I hope all of those bastards have to give back the money.
