Palin changes tune on 'feminist' label (CNN)

Does Sarah Palin consider herself a feminist? It depends on which network anchor is asking.

In an interview on NBC Nightly News that aired Thursday, host Brian Williams asked Palin: "Governor, are you a feminist?"

"I'm not gonna label myself anything, Brian," she responded. "And I think that's what annoys a lot of Americans, especially in a political campaign, is to start trying to label different parts of America different, different backgrounds, different � I'm not going to put a label on myself. " ...

What about labeling parts of the country as "pro-America"? That's not labeling?

I think it's clear that her calling or not calling herself a feminist is NOT what is annoying a lot of Americans today. Then again, "annoyed" is the wrong word. More like scared. :scared:

5. In an earlier interview about a month ago, she said she was new type of feminist.

I guess she found out that the majority of feminists are Democrats, in between those two statements.

and she is already thinking of 2012. I think she'd wear any label if she thought she could win with it. I have a feeling next week we are going to see some really juicy stuff as more Republicans jump like rats off a sinking ship.
