Obama's Nev. campaign director dies at 44

NEW YORK — A family spokesman says the Nevada campaign director for Barack Obama's campaign and a former top aide to New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has died at 44.

Family spokesman Basil Smikle said Monday that Terence Tolbert died of a heart attack Sunday in Las Vegas.

Tolbert was on leave from his job as the chief lobbyist for New York City's public schools at the state capital in Albany to work for the Democratic presidential nominee.

13. Exactly my age.
All you folks out there need to start seeing a physician annually from the age of 40. I lost both grandfathers to heart attacks at the ages of 52 and 59, and my father just had quad bypass at 65 two months ago with blockages of 80 -90%. I've been an avid runner for almost 8 years now and just got a clean bill of health from my cardiologist. Not tooting my own horn, but people, please start an exercise regimen. Even if it's just walking. Build up to more strenuous levels, you'll love yourself for it.

A 58 year old with a "clean bill of health" just died yesterday in the N.Y. marathon. Several have died in recent years in the Chicago marathon.
