(MD) Family Wakes Up To Swastikas, Racial Slurs On Front Door

HAGERSTOWN, MD - A Hagerstown family opened their front door Tuesday morning and made a disturbing discovery.

There was derogatory language in black marker all over their apartment door.

Darrel Fowler was on his way out to work early in the morning when he noticed swastikas and racial comments all over the door of his family's apartment at Pangborn Heights on Lynnehaven Drive.

Police aren't sure if it's a hate crime or just vandalism.

The Fowlers have an Obama sticker on their door, so police believe that may have been the vandals' target.

Because the word "white" is spelled wrong, police are wondering if the vandal is a child.

We all know the dictionary is wrong. It's "moran" instead of "moron."

Police aren't sure if this is a hate crime or not? The doughnuts must be cutting off the air supply to the brain if they have to wonder about that...it's a hate crime.

10. This is about an hour from where I was born and my parents lived until about 2 years ago, Believe me
when I say just because "white was spelled wrong" doesn't mean a thing! When you hear the word Appalachia this part of the country should immediately come to mind. The educational system sucks and there is no desire to improve the conditions. My son and family lived there until Sept. of this year. I am so very happy that we were able to get my 3 young grand-daughters out of the environment.I shutter to think of what their lives would've been like had they stayed.
