Former First Lady Barbara Bush Taken to Hospital for Tests
Source: Fox

HOUSTON -- It has been reported that Former First Lady Barbara Bush was taken to the emergency room at Methodist Hospital.

Several black unmarked cars escorted Barbara Bush, 83, and President George H.W. Bush to the hospital because she had been feeling ill for about a week.

Bush took several tests at the hospital as a precautionary measure, officials said. They have come back negative.

She is expected to be released later Tuesday to spend Thanksgiving with her family, officials said.

12. Well, Fox is a fountain of mindless drivel.
So I guess this is just business as usual. If they just said "She felt bad, but we have no idea why" it would at least make sense. I wish her good health and long life, for what it's worth.

and I can not forget those poor people that were cast aside so willingly by her son, all the Republican ilck, and as a result of attitudes that she clearly shares.

I hope she recovers fully and lives a very long extended life. I hope she maintains her mental faculties so that she might develop some sense of contrition towards those she felt to be worthy of nothing more than her disdain.

38. It's hard to feel a lot of sympathy after what she said re: the Katrina victims who were in the
Astrodome - yes, the Astrodome, not the Superdome... after many had fled from La. to Tx. I forget what the quote was, and I'm not going to look it up right now, but it was almost like 'let 'em eat cake'. So I made up a joke: 'If we didn't know Bush was a son of a bitch before, now we do'.

42. That was the "Kodak" moment for a lot of people...
"And so many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway, so this--this (she chuckles slightly) is working very well for them."

http://www.editorandpublisher.com/eandp/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1001054719

You have to wonder if in a "humorous" moment she told Ronald Reagan that catsup was a vegetable. She claimed the comment was taken out of context but quite a few who had worked with her in the literacy community never felt the same about her afterwards. I had actually respected both of them until that moment. All the nice things, it seems, that they did were just ruses to divert attention from all the not-so-nice things.

Also, she said that she didn't watch the news about the Iraq War, because she didn't want to "waste" her "beautiful mind" on thoughts of body bags and dead bodies, from the war. That is one vile disgusting selfish hateful old woman.

thanks for dumping all into one pot, thats classic freeperville fire boy!

no room for humor in your tidy little polite world, no room for anger against those who destroyed so many lives. the BFEE had no problem despairing traditional American values but you suggest we take some kind of high road. Sorry but Babs Bush is a despicable human and I am being kind by using the word human.

take you greater than thou elsewhere!
