Rove: Obama security team represents continuity
Source: Associated Press

WASHINGTON – President Bush's former political director says the national security team named by President-elect Barack Obama "represents, to a substantial degree, continuity" especially in hot spots like Iraq and Afghanistan.

Karl Rove said on NBC's "Today" show the naming of the national security team is "a reminder that continuity exists particularly in our foreign and international relations."

Rove pointed to the retention of Defense Secretary Robert Gates and the naming of James Jones as national security adviser, a Vietnam war veteran who rose to become a Marine four-star general and served as military chief of NATO during the Bush administration. Obama also named Hillary Rodham Clinton as his nominee for secretary of state.

3. I cancelled my Newsweek subscription because they were giving that slime a platform.

Picked up a Newsweek at the dentist today, and he's still there. What they are thinking, I have never been able to fathom.

Edited for inevitable (it seems) stupid typo.

6. Who cares what Rove says?
He's a criminal scum bag.
It is intolerable that this dick is allowed to go nattering on like he hasn't done anything wrong.
I refuse to perceive any Rove generated information.
The day Newsweek put him on the staff it became parrot cage lining. Permanently.
Any other publication that wants a dip in my personal dead pool just has to include him once.

7. I do. And so should you. Rove is beginning the re-positioning of the repub's.
It will go something like this:

'Obama tried but he failed. A good man but not the leader George Bush was or Jeb Bush will be for you in 2012. Afterall, Obama promised this or Obama promised that. George Bush delivered for you, Obama was arrogant and tried too much too soon.'

To continue Obama in office after his 4 years will require an even more massive lay out of the money citizens gave during the past election. I just hope we have anything left to give.

15. They sure as hell didn't care about "continuity" when they took over from Clinton
They couldn't get rid of Clinton's cabinet quick enough. They couldn't undo everything Clinton quick enough, and look at the shape of America..Rove has as much credibility as Bush* and Cheney...zero..
