1. Well, he wanted us to pay for a new stadium for him.
Was a similar lobby filed so we can pay for the tab to bury him?

Forgive me; for sympathy I have precious little. He was a mega millionaire, charged outrageous ticket prices, could easily afford to pay his staff millions just to run around a field after hitting a ball with a stick, and yet he claims he was soooooo poor he needed all of us to chip in to buy him a new stadium.

No thanks. I paid to go view a game in 1993. I did my bit for him and more, given that cost...

2. Actually, the price of a Twins ticket is pretty reasonable
and the outfield seating known as the "cheap seats" is aptly named. My nephews liked sitting there when they were little because they always hoped to catch a home run ball.

I just hope the prices don't go up too much in the new stadium - it really wouldn't be right given we're already paying for those seats.

6. Very sad.
My condolences to his family.

Say what you will about him, but he saved baseball in Minnesota.

7. "Saved baseball in Minnesota"...
...and did his damnedest to take it away from Seattle. No tears from up here in the Pacific Northwest.

9. You really wanted seven more years of never reaching the World Series?
He was 93 and lived a full life. Rest in Peace and say Hi to Kirby for us.

10. Does the governor appoint a new owner?
or will there be a special election that we can be hyper-critical of?
