6. Why are there no anti-war protests?
I remember plenty before the war -- I even attended one -- but now that our soldiers are dying, no one seems to care. Let's bring our boys back home.

9. It's summer
All of us college kids are away for the summer,
but there damn well should be some protests when
we get back!

4. When
When are we going to see a member of the Imperial Family sign up for duty in Iraq? Any relatives of von Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Cheney, Rice et. al. willing to die for the Regime's Imperial ambitions? I thought not.

16. SAME INCIDENT
Only one was killed this morning. The reports that two were killed in the central Baghdad grenade drop have proved erroneous.

All the news sources were careful to say that CentCom had not confirmed two dead, but only eyewitnesses and a Reuters crew THOUGHT the two men they saw were dead.

So, yes, this is the same incident.

One soldier killed today?

10. Fuck
This is getting so depressing, and all we hear about today is Bob Hope dying. Well, I'm sorry but the troops dying every day mean more to me than Bob Hope ever did - he had a good long life, their's is gone.

13. 109
When college does start next month each and every one of us needs to write a letter to our college newspaper calling for an uprising and mass protest, the draft isn't far behind.

14. A brief mention is all they get now.
From now on, military deaths in Iraq are routine.

15. Shitty
That Bobo Hope gets numerous mention and, even after notification of next of kin, we won't know his name for a long time. This soldier deserves to be celebrated, not some 100-year old stooge.
