Former Mayor Rudy Giuliani is a loon and he is out to get me, says Hamptons hothead John McCluskey

Rudy started it.

That's the story from the man arrested after a confrontation with former Mayor Rudy Giuliani in the Hamptons.

"I told him what I thought of him, which is my right," said John McCluskey, 69, of Wainscott in East Hampton Town, who accuses Giuliani of going after his company, Arden Communications, on phony tax charges as a federal prosecutor in the 1980s.

"He tortured me for two years in his role as a prosecutor," he said Sunday after news of his arrest broke in the Daily News.

"I told him that he would rather prosecute the innocent than the guilty," he said.


"I didn't threaten him with violence. He threatened me with violence," said McCluskey, who ran into Giuliani after leaving an art fair at a nearby church Friday. "He told me he'd beat me up, and I told him I'd smack him in the head if he did. It's that simple."

Police arrested McCluskey and charged him with second-degree harassment after witnesses said he ran up to Giuliani and his wife, Judith, and threatened to "punch out" the former mayor.

Giuliani just got lucky with Leona Helmsley and Marc Rich because both were "tabloid fodder" which is where they were tried instead of in court although the Justice Department settled with Marc Rich which is always conveniently left out whenever the Republicans talk about how Bill Clinton pardoned a criminal who fled the country to avoid prosecution. There was no case to be prosecuted. The purpose of the pardon was simply to stop Guiliani from continuing his vendetta against Marc Rich.

Giuliani never accepted the Justice Department settlement and kept demanding prosecution. That sums up Guiliani best. He was the decider. Not the Justice Department. Just like George W Bush. The deciders.

the man should not be able to show his face in public.

Since there is NO justice system left in America, shamming people is all we have left.

I wish he would hit someone first and then end up having his teeth knocked down his throat. I doubt any jury would convict the person who hit Rudy Guiliani back. Most New Yorkers as I understand it wish he would take the first punch so they could knock his teeth down his throat. He should have been prosecuted a long time ago himself over all the obstruction of justice. Instead, he was made a partner at a law firm. That prior to adding his name was actually held in regard for its ethical standards. But is no more and hasn't been since they added "Guiliani" to the name. He more than anyone represents the reason why this country has gone down the drain. The Bushes and their lapdogs. And Rudy Guiliani has been the number one lapdog for a long, long time.
