Al Qaeda deputy criticizes Obama's Egypt trip
Source: CNN

(CNN) -- On the eve of President Obama's highly anticipated speech to the Muslim world, al Qaeda's second-in-command issued an audio statement saying the president of the United States is not welcome in Egypt.

Obama is traveling to the Middle East in an effort to repair a damaged U.S. image and reset relations with the Islamic world. But the terrorist network's deputy leader, Ayman al-Zawahiri, said those relations cannot be mended as long as the administration maintains its alliance with Israel.

In a message called "Tyrants of Egypt and America's agents welcome Obama" that was posted on Islamist Web sites, al-Zawahiri once again lashed out at the United States. Obama's message to the Muslim world, he said, has already been delivered with his support for "Zionist aggression."

1. Those #2 men - are they related to the Octomom?
Damn, we've killed a dozen of them and they still keep popping out.

2. I don't think these people fully understand what President Obama is trying to do.
It will take a long time to heal the damage and suffering we have done to that society.

6. Maybe they do understand and nonetheless don't want him to succeed.

Why would their goals be similar to his goals? Al Qaeda's identity and success is tied up with the West, especially America, being the Big Satan. I do not see them as seeking "peaceful co-existence."

11. Why would the not? That doesn't make any sense.
The US is one of the biggest Muslim countries in the world. There is so much we can do together.

3. So all of Islam is not Allah. But al-Zawahiri instead.

Al-Zawahiri is a sub-human piece of trash.

5. Is that like saying all of Catholicism is not God, but Al Capone instead?
How about all of Judaism is not God, but only the # 2 guy in the "Jewish mafia" instead?

I guess I am missing your point.

8. Pretty much. I think you've got the picture. Now it's up to the Muslims to decide who they will -
follow. Allah or Al-Zawahiri.

9. There are about 1.5 billion Muslims. How many are following Al-Zawahiri?
Still not getting your point? Would you have said it is up to Catholics whether they will follow God or Al Capone?

10. Yep! I've said things very similar to that in the past.
If you go to the top of Mt. Sinai. You're going to find God and a drug dealer. It's up to you to decide who you will follow through life. The drug dealer will make you feel high and mighty. God will humble you in His presence. Al-Zawahiri's followers use his words like a drug. It makes them feel all high and mighty.

Even if you never get it. I do thank you kindly for politely entertaining the idea.
